Finally a Day Out

After just about 2 weeks of going no where and doing my best to recover quickly, my awesome niece Alyssa and awesome friend April helped me get out the house today. Alyssa picked us up and after taking me to the dollar store and getting Kyndi and her friend from swim practice, took us to the water park. She followed Trista around for about 4 hours taking her in the wave pool, lazy river, and on the kiddie slides. April sat with me and made sure Alauren didn't drown and that I didn't lift anything or get in the water.
It was sooo awesome to get out the house. I think it was my most pain free day yet. Because I was occupied or because I'm finally healing? Who knows? But even though my mom was not happy about me going, it was worth it! Hey it gave her a day off, you would think that would make her ecstatic.
I am so very grateful to have such a loving niece and caring friend. It's people like this that makes my life awesome!
Now to suffer through the sunburn!
Oh and I forgot to mention that Altssa then took me to the store and rode Trista around on the 4-wheeler even though I know her shoulders were burning up.
I called James to make sure he hurried home so he could make her some pralines. Yum-ee!

Say Cheese

I told Alauren to say cheese and this is what I got ;) She told me a bunch stuff after that. Let's see if I can post the video.

Ready To Go

It's been 14 days since surgery and I am sooo ready to be over the recovery!! I want to get out and run, shop, and play!!
Now, am I supposed to write in here like a journal? Do people respond?
I made the title childs creations thinking that this would either be about my kids or about hairstyles. Both I guess :)
